Saturday,
September 4th, 9:00AM - 2:00PM - Faith Church Yard Sale.
If you follow these than you know that there are usually lots of good buys and
that it is also a good time to part with quality items that are no longer of use
to you for the benefit of the church life at FEC. You also know that we didn't
have as many of these this year as we often do and that it might be many months
before we host another one. So, get your good used items down to us at the
chapel the week prior to the Labor Day and be sure to join us on the Saturday of
Labor Day Weekend for the opportunity to purchase unique items at prices far
below the steepest discounts offered at any store. You'll end up with some fun
stuff to get you through the New England winter and you'll be helping the
vibrant worship life of Faith Church.
Sunday,
September 5th, after the 9:00AM service - The Faith
Family Picnic. At the end of each summer school vacation it has become
our tradition to get together as a church family and have some food and fun
together. This year will be a little different in that over the years we have
typically hosted this at the home of a church member. This year we will be
hosting it right on the chapel grounds. With a new fence and a lot of effort
being spent to get the grounds into shape we hope it will be a successful
experiment that may lead to other casual church events being hosted right on the
grounds. The obvious benefit is that you are right there after church. Bring
some chairs and your favorite dish and be enjoy some time with the rest of your
Faith family. For more information please reach out to coordinators Pete
Linkroum or Jane Howard. We look forward to seeing you there!
Sunday,
September 12th - We revert from a summer schedule of a single
service at 9:00A to our two service format - one at 8:30A and the other at
10:00A (which includes music, childcare and both adult and youth Christian
education.
